內容:

The Taiwan Workforce Development Agency Information Site on Foreign Worker Rights Defense has been launched! The website(https://fw.wda.gov.tw/) in Chinese, English, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Thai aims to help employers, foreign workers in Taiwan, private employment institutions and the public understand the employment of foreign workers, rights protection and relevant regulations. The Ministry of Labor, which oversees the agency, stated that foreign workers in Taiwan are mostly from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. The ministry has launched the five-language website to inform those and other foreign workers and the public on employment, rights protection and regulations. Visitors can click on the flag on the homepage to select their preferred language for greater convenience. The website has been built under responsive design to ensure an optimum user experience on a wide variety of mobile devices. Besides regulations, policies, educational materials and information on counseling and complaints, a Local Government section presents information on events for foreign worker held by local governments. Users may look up events of their interest by date, type and the unit announcing the event.
In the Private Employment Institution section, employers may also look up historical evaluations and violation records of employment institutions to protect their rights. The website also comprises a Pre-Employment Seminar Information Website to offer families intending to hire a foreign caregiver or domestic help the necessary information and services beforehand. Through the website, the ministry aims to offer employers, foreign workers, private employment institutions, and the public up-to-date and complete information on regulations and rights and help develop harmonious labor relations.
