▍Fake prizes, real scams –Beware ‘fake customer services’
“Congratulations, you have won a prize. Contact customer services to claim your prize”
“Pay a processing fee and you can get an iPhone or an electric scooter”
What appears to be a lucky notification is in fact a common scam:
1.Impersonating a well-known brand or lucky draw to send fake prize notifications
2.Pretending to be customer service staff, calling or messaging you
3.Claiming it is necessary to pay a processing fee or tax before receiving the prize
4.Once the money is transferred, the scammer disappears, and you receive nothing
Please note:
Do not share your bank account, password, or ATM card information with anyone
Almost all messages asking you to “pay first to claim a prize” are scams
