Online shopping scams are common in Taiwan.If you encounter the following situations be vigilant:

•Asked for real-name authentication

•Asked to click a link or scan a QR code for verification

•Asked to adda LINE contact and dealwith the purchase in private

•Asked to providean SMS verification code

Following these instructions could result in your account, personal data, credit card information, or money being stolen

If you suspect a scam, call the 165 Anti-fraud Hotline immediately. If you require interpretation services, call the 1955 Hotline.
